Mitchell Kelly's journey through the world of dance is truly remarkable. Starting his training at 14 in Atlanta, he may have been considered a late bloomer, but he quickly made up for lost time with his dedication and talent. Training with master teachers worldwide honed his skills, leading to an incredible opportunity with the prestigious Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater under the guidance of Judith Jamison and Masazumi Chaya. His stint in Broadway's "The Lion King" further solidified his place in the dance world.

Transitioning into the commercial dance scene, Mitchell's star continued to rise, catching the eye of Creative Director Choreographer Travis Payne. His breakthrough moment came with "SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE" Season 8, where he dazzled audiences and earned a spot in the final top 10, followed by a national city tour. From there, his career soared, with appearances at NYC Fashion Week, collaborations with brands like Nike, and performances for luminaries such as Serena Williams and Michelle Obama. A year-long contract with Cirque Du Soleil added another impressive chapter to his resume.

Yet, Mitchell's journey isn't just about personal success; it's about uplifting others and fostering diversity in dance. As a creative director, he's worked with some of the biggest names in music, from Celine Dion to Beyoncé, while also nurturing upcoming talent like Chloe Bailey and CoCo Jones. His passion for empowerment led him to establish MKS JEWELS LIVE, a platform dedicated to motivating and empowering women through the arts. But perhaps Mitchell's most fulfilling role is that of a mentor. Having been guided by legends himself, he now pays it forward by training and mentoring dancers, some of whom have become social media sensations. His ultimate goal is to give back to the dance community, providing opportunities for others to realize their full potential just as he was encouraged to do. Mitchell Kelly's career is not just a testament to his talent but also to the power of perseverance, mentorship, and paying it forward in the world of dance.

NEW CLASS CREDIT POILCY

Business Cancellation:

Studio Cancellation

Credit validity: If MKs cancels a private session, your class credit remains valid for 7 days from the purchase date.
- Example: Ticket bought on Tuesday → credit expires the following Tuesday.

Student Cancellation

Eligible make‑up classes: Credits may be used only on Sunday classes within the same 7‑day window:
- Sunday Fundamentals – 4:30 pm
- Sunday MKs Jewels Live – 6:00 pm
Notice required: Email or text at least 2 hours before class to keep your credit.
- Less than 2 hours’ notice = credit forfeited.
No refunds / no transfers on all private classes, private training, and intensives. Please read your ticket details carefully.

RSVP & Payment

Reserve before paying: Always RSVP first; spots without payment may be released to the wait‑list.
